BetoChallen — Small daily steps on the path to learning Japanese

BetoChallen is the foundational learning area on Betodemy. It is designed to help Japanese learners move forward step by step through clear, easy-to-follow learning paths that are easier to maintain every day.

Instead of starting in uncertainty, not knowing what to study first or how to review, learners can enter BetoChallen and follow the learning paths Betodemy has prepared in advance. Each Challen is divided into small stages, helping you learn one part at a time, practice, and check your knowledge after each section.

In the current Beta, learners can already access BetoChallen and try three foundational tracks: Kanji, Vocabulary, and Integrated Learning.

In the Kanji track, learners become familiar with and build up kanji by content group, from basic characters to characters often seen in study, daily life, and work. Learning does not stop at recognizing the written form; it also moves toward readings, usage, and long-term retention.

In the Vocabulary track, BetoChallen helps learners meet the same words again in different contexts. Instead of memorizing isolated word lists, you practice through sentences, situations, and short question formats, gradually turning vocabulary into knowledge you can use.

In the Integrated Learning track, learners connect different areas of knowledge: vocabulary, Kanji, grammar, sentence patterns, and usage in real contexts. This path helps strengthen Japanese ability in a more comprehensive way.

BetoChallen is built around the idea of “one small step every day.” You do not need to complete a lot at once. Just spend a few minutes each day moving a little further, building up gradually, and seeing your progress through each stage.

The learning screen is also designed like a journey: each lesson is a stop along the way, and each completion becomes a new step forward. Together with BetoKun, your companion on Betodemy, learning feels closer, lighter, and more motivating to continue.

During the Beta period, Betodemy will continue expanding the content, adjusting lesson structure, and improving the learning experience based on user feedback. BetoChallen aims to give learners a clear path to begin, a manageable rhythm to keep going, and a real sense of progress at the end of each day.

Open the Betodemy Beta to start experiencing BetoChallen today.
