Betodemy – A platform for learning, teaching, and training in Japanese
Betodemy is a Japanese-learning platform built to connect learners, teachers, and training organizations in one consistent, easy-to-use environment with a clear sense of direction.
Betodemy is built and developed by Betofumi — a company founded by Vietnamese people and operating in Japan, headquartered in the city of Nomi, Ishikawa Prefecture. Drawing on real experience living in Japan, Betofumi set out to create a Japanese-learning platform that stays close to the real needs of learners, teachers, and training providers.
More than an ordinary Japanese-learning website, Betodemy aims to be a complete learning space: a place where learners can study on their own each day, join live online classes with a teacher, practice along structured paths, assess their level, and track their own progress.
For learners
Betodemy offers a wide range of content designed around different goals. You can start with foundational paths like BetoChallen, practice further through MinnaChallen, read learning articles in BetoNews, take quizzes, review vocabulary, Kanji, and grammar, and prepare for Japanese-language exams.
What matters is that you don't have to begin in the dark. Instead of struggling over what to study first, how to review, or how to keep going, you follow small, clear, manageable stages: a small piece each day, a specific goal for each stage, step by step adding up to real progress.
For teachers
For teachers, Betodemy is a unified teaching platform. Teachers can build digital lesson plans, draw on a library of materials, run live online classes, manage students, track progress, and reuse content across different classes.
The digital lesson-plan system lets teachers design their program in their own style. Tools such as interactive exercises, a digital whiteboard, study cards, quizzes, a class register, homework tracking, and result analytics reduce administrative work, freeing teachers to spend more time on the quality of their teaching.
For businesses and organizations
Betodemy also works alongside companies, centers, and organizations that need Japanese training for their staff. The platform supports designing programs around specific goals, running live online classes, assessing proficiency, tracking results, and providing periodic reports — making training clearer and easier to manage.
The Beta and the road ahead
In the current Beta, Betodemy has opened a selection of features for users to try: learning content, Challen, live online classes, and several other limited sections. This is the stage in which our development team continues to refine the interface, lesson structure, and overall experience based on real feedback.
In the versions to come, Betodemy will add more new tools: learners building their own personal paths, teachers creating and sharing content, and organizations running their Japanese-training programs more effectively.
What we believe
Betodemy is built on one belief: learning Japanese doesn't have to be a lonely or stressful journey. With a clear path, the right support system, and a community to share the way, learners can make steady, lasting progress.
Betodemy hopes to be the starting point for new learning journeys — where learners find motivation, teachers grow their expertise and teaching careers, and organizations gain a clear, flexible solution for Japanese training. And not only a place to begin, but a place to go further, together.
